A neighbor’s X-detail shelf table

THE STORY BEHIND THE BUILD

A neighbor made this sturdy table with a rich wood top, a bright white frame, X braces at the ends, and two long open shelves. The simple contrast lets the grain be the focus while the shelves leave room for baskets, books, or the things a busy home needs nearby.

I love seeing how another maker takes familiar farmhouse details and makes a useful piece their own. The photograph catches it just after the work: on the deck, with the fresh white finish and warm top doing all the talking. Thank you to my neighbor for sharing this build with Makers Club.
